1.    The aims and objectives of the Associations are to promote and protect economic and commercial interests through the exchange of information through fair concepts of communication and mutual assistance among members and to encourage investment in Bangladesh's Economic Zones and trade in all its branches. Moreover, to promote friendly relations and consensus of purpose between them and their partners locally and abroad. 

2.    To promote research, public, relations, investment, investigation, invention, exhibition, publishing, planning and development.

3.    Maintaining the organization through corporate social responsibility policy (CSR) for the country's socio-economic development through business promotion, job creation, income growth, human resource development and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

4.    Establishing a strategic plan, action plan and annual budget based on the goals achieved. To formulate guidelines for advising, coordinating and coordinating the corporate activities of companies under economic zones and for general external response.

5.    To protect, develop, support and promote all measures and steps toward open, free and competitive marketing and trade of all product or goods under economic zones within Bangladesh and coordinate the efforts of the members of the Association to this end. To promote and have a mission and structure to facilitate the progressive raising of opportunity to protect investment of members.

6.    To communicate and work with Government, Parliament, Ministries, Directorates, Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority, NBR, Bangladesh Bank and other similar public bodies within or outside of Bangladesh with a view to concerting and promoting measures for protection of investment of its members, their trade, commerce, industry and legitimate demands in respect of the same. To create an environment conducive to greater effectiveness of economic zones in particular through the adoption of legislation on local and foreign commerce, environment, human health, safety, transport, taxation, energy efficiency and obtain equitable laws regarding the economic zones production, export, import, marketing, distribution local and abroad. To develop awareness of Government Notifications, Rules, Regulations and Laws concerning the economic zones amongst the members of Association. To liaise with competent regulatory authorities to produce/develop standards and codes of practice for the development for the same.

7.    To promote the highest standards of business policy, honesty and professionalism among the members of the association and among others. To support the common interests of all its members and to promote the reputation of economic zones among policy makers and opinion leaders, and to act as arbitrators to resolve problems and disputes, always considering the best interests of the association and its members and above all stakeholders and the country. Participate in meetings with experts and authorities aimed at communicating and supporting the position of the economic zone industry. Principals, agents, managers, for any society, committee, association or organization, directly or indirectly related to the production and trade of economic zones, as well as to act as an establishment or trade at their request.

8.    Properly collect and communicate with the appropriate FBCCI and other trade bodies that have the potential to acquire or become members of all legal business forums and to forward the content of the association to any integrated body of trade, commerce and industry. Achieve local and foreign seminars, road shows, symposiums, workshops and promote national or international organizations and organizations directly or indirectly related to economic zones and become members or associates of organizations for industry development and sustainable development.

9.    The organization is committed to improving facilities such as rent, purchase, lease, exchange or otherwise acquisition or acquisition of any other house, land, farm, fittings and furniture or any other immovable or movable property, license or facilities as necessary or expedient.

10.    To raise and recruit membership for the Association from amongst the ECONOMIC ZONES investors as different parts of Bangladesh and define eligibility requirement and attach thereto, respectively such qualifications, preferences, right, titles, status, conditions and privileges as may be determined from time to time by the Executive Committee of the Association. To establish and support or to aid in the establishment and support of Associations and Institutions, Clubs, Societies and Funds for benevolent objects, for the benefit of humanity or any section thereof and to subscribe to or to guarantee money for any charitable, educational or other trusts.


11.    To edit and publish journals, books, magazines, digital information/publications and promotion collect, distribute and communicate information or supply data, statistics and other information necessary for the promotion and advancement of economic zones stability, opportunity, sustainability in Bangladesh through letters, circulars, and periodicals or through press and publicity media. To collect and disseminate statistical and other information and to make efforts for the spread of commercial, technical and economic knowledge to promote and advance commercial, technical, industrial and scientific education in the country and to find and support institutions for such purposes for members and to distribute them on a pro-rata, no profit no loss basis. 

12.    To arrange giving relief, medical or their wise to the members of the Association and/or their dependents, its employees or ex-employees and/or their dependents and to provide donations and grants as possible. To aid and to receive aid from any other Society, Association, Firm, Corporation, Company Partnership or Person promoting or formed or intended to promote any of the objects of the Association and to subscribe to or aid any such Society, Association, Firm, Corporation, Company, Partnership or Person with a view to obtaining any advantage or benefit for the purpose of the Association and to subscribe to any Fund or Society as may be considered deserving by the Association. 

13.    To establish a BEZIA foundation for the welfare of the members and to promote the CSR activities for the BEZIA members, employees and among workers family in all Economic Zones of Bangladesh.

14.    To bring lawsuit, take legal action in court civil, criminal, revenue or otherwise whether original or appellate and to grant vakalatnama authorizing legal practitioners to appear for and on behalf of the Association before all Court, civil, criminal, revenue or otherwise. To appoint officers, staff, agents, managers, secretaries, contractors and establish agencies and branches of the Association in any place within Bangladesh. To subscribe to any local or other charities and to grant donations for any public purpose and provide Provident or Superannuation fund or funds for the employees of the Association or to otherwise assist any such employees, their widows and children. To pay out of the funds of the Association all costs, charges and expenses preliminary and incidental to promotion, establishment, incorporation and registration of the Association. To take all steps by lawful means that be necessary for promoting, supporting or opposing legislation or any other action affecting the interest of the economic zones and in general to take initiative to secure and safeguard the interests of the economic zones in all respects. 

15.    To co-ordinate its general objectives with any internationally recognized authorities/bodies/associations of economic zones. And generally, to do all such act or things as may be necessary from time to time in connection with the affairs of the Association or for the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
